Please limit car movements on-site.

Kaupapa ~ Purpose
HomeFire: A place to activate community connectivity, practice unity in diversity and empower co-creative clarity and new ways of being.
Wharekai: A community kitchen to ground and nourish with a Lounge to chill, refresh & relax
Pū Oro: A space to inspire musical shenanigans
InSight: break-out space for self-organising work and play shops
HeartFire: Ignites our collaboration, kindles our drum rhythms & carries our prayers
The Culture
Regenerative, heart-centered humans thriving together in sacred reciprocity with the Earth
-
EVERYONE pays. In this way, all members are taking responsibility for the financial abundance of Home Fire and essential costs can be met by the collective.
-
-EVERYONE contributes. As a way to tap back into the intrinsic abundance of our natural world, we invite people to come, bring their gifts, resources, skills and energy to the collective ~ the whole is something MORE than the sum of its parts.
-
EVERYONE receives. From this basis we can each freely give and take from the reciprocal pool of abundance.

Pikikirunga ~ Canaan Downs
Canaan Downs is 750m above sea level and is classified as sub-alpine. The weather is changeable and it can be very cold at nights, even in summer.
Please brings warm clothes and wet weather gear to be prepared for all conditions.
The land has natural hazards such as tomos, caves, cliffs and deep karst country features. Please take care and use all senses to keep yourselves, and our community, safe.
The native beech forest is actively regenerating and is home to many interesting and some endangered species. Please tread carefully: take only photos and leave only footprints.
